Managed Hosting & Maintenance covers your website or web application specifically — hosting, updates, backups, SSL, and basic support. Ongoing Tech/IT Management is our broader IT partnership service: it covers your full digital infrastructure, including servers, networks, multiple systems, security posture management, and enterprise-grade helpdesk. Most small businesses start with Managed Hosting; growing companies and organizations with complex infrastructure move to IT Management.
Do you host on your own infrastructure or a third-party provider?
We manage hosting across several platforms — Vercel, WP Engine, Kinsta, DigitalOcean, and AWS — depending on your site's technology and performance requirements. We recommend the right platform for your specific setup and manage it on your behalf. You retain ownership of all accounts.
Can you take over maintenance of a site you didn't build?
Yes. We do an onboarding audit first — reviewing your current hosting, software versions, security posture, and backup status — then bring everything up to standard before starting the ongoing maintenance cycle. We'll tell you what we find and what it will take to get current.
What happens if my site gets hacked?
Malware removal is included in all plans. If your site is compromised, we clean it, harden the vulnerability that was exploited, restore from a clean backup if needed, and document the incident. We also implement preventive measures to reduce the likelihood of recurrence.
How do content updates work — can I still edit my site?
Yes. You retain full access to your CMS and can make content changes whenever you like. Our maintenance covers the technical layer — updates, security, hosting, and backups — not content editing. If you want us to make content changes too, we offer a content update add-on on higher-tier plans.
